An Angel Blessed her
Saw this posted on the Indianapolis Star's website for Mom's called Indy Mom's
I just had to tell someone…. long story short, my hubby and I have 3 great kids, my hubby had surgery on his leg about a month ago and went back to the hospital with swelling, spent the night there and was sent home the next day, went almost 2 weeks without a paycheck and he is our only income at the moment, last Friday he had what looked like a spider bite at his knee and by saturday morning after driving for 12 hours at work that night we went to the ER with his knee the size of a softball….today..5 days later he has confirmed MRSA and had to have surgery on his leg and we don’t know when he will be out of the hospital or when he can go back to work…back to the point, took the kids to the MD today to get my 4 year olds shots for school and decided I would take the opportunity while I had a few dollars on me to get the boys a VERY much needed haircut, an older gentleman was getting his haircut when we walked in and left in the middle of my boys’ cuts, he never said anything to me or my boys but minutes after he left the man who cut his hair asked me if I knew him, and I said I did not, he then informed me that the gentleman just paid for both my boys’ haircuts and tipped their barbers $5 each. I did not even get to thank him, it really was a blessing for me and my family, I wish I was able to say thanks!!! It did so happen that on the way home I did need that money I had for cuts to stop and get gas before I could get on

Making A Difference
Once upon a time there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.
One day he was walking along the shore. As he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He
smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day.
So he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.
As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?"
The young man paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing starfish in the ocean."
"I guess I should have asked, why are you throwing starfish in the ocean?"
"The sun is up and the tide is going out. And if I don't throw them in they'll die."
"But, young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and starfish all along it. You can't possibly make a difference!"
The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the ocean, past the breaking waves and said - "It made a difference for that one."
